Antique Store Display Brass Glove clips on Marble Base Victorian style Vintage

Antique Store display.  Marble square base with brass post holding 3 amazing clips styled like Victorian gloves.  Glove clips are attached with a screw, and could use a tightening.  In vintage condition.  Brass has a patina to it, I have not attempted to clean the metal as I know some people prefer the older look.  Marble in excellent condition with felt bottom.
I found this piece in an auction in NC.  I have no idea as to it's history or age.  It has no makers marks that I can find.  It appears to be a store display that would hold packages of gloves or other ladies items.  Would be amazing in a modern store or antique store as a display to hold anything from gloves to jewelry.  The clips are removeable if one wished to repurpose them.
This item sits 12'' high.
