Lanchester Motor Cars, a History by Anthony Bird and Francis Hutton-Stott, original 1965 hardcover with dustjacket, published by Montagu Motor Books of London. A complete and detailed history of the Lanchester company from its original experimental cars up to its amalgamation with Daimler, covering the years 1895-1965. Generously illustrated with wonderful photos and diagrams. This copy is in excellent condition, with a slightly worn dustcover. The book itself has perfect boards, solid binding, and clean, crisp pages throughout. Only the slightest of signs of use are present. The dustjacket has a bit of tearing at the top edge and some slight storage staining (see photos), as well as a clipped corner on the inner flap. The copyright date has been blotted out but this is a 1965 original (there is no other). A rare and overall lovely copy.
