  • Condition: very good+ condition. The 10" bell is still connected to the housing which also appears intact although the wires coming out of the housing were cut behind the housing back. The company nameplate is still attached and is in excellent condition. It contains the following info: "S H Couch Co est 1894 North Quincy, Mass USA" and "Cat No 270 volts 11 cycles 50 amps 2.8 ohms .80 watts The housing was painted tan at some point and the bell appears to have had a coat of fire engine red, which is now started to peel in some spots. Original color appears to be gloss black, but can't say for sure.
