Vtg Federal X Military Siren Fire Truck Engine Police Ambulance Car Part Loud!!!

Description

Beautiful old Federal X military siren.
Aluminum base with brass bullet shaped cone.
13” long, 9“ wide, and 8“ tall.
Weighs 12 lbs.
Missing the ID tag on top, but an original or custom plate could be added, or leave as is.
I tested this siren using a 12 volt car battery and it is LOUD!!! I believe it can be used with 24 volts, as well.
It appears that it was originally orange in color, at least on the aluminum base. It could be repainted, left as is, or polish the aluminum and brass to perfection making it a stunning piece!
I’m a car guy and could imagine this siren polished and mounted on the hood of a car or truck to appear like a blower, or on the roof. People would be awestruck and definitely hear you approaching the local car show or “cars and coffee” event!
